Eddie Izzard plays Brian Slade's masterminding manager Jerry Devine.
Izzard was the 1996 and 1993 winner of the Top British Stand Up Comedian Award. He has shattered box-office records with his sell-out shows: Definite Articale, One Word Improv, Glorious and Dressed to Kill. He was the subject of TX, a BBC documentary made on the road of his world tour., and a behind-the-scenes film of Eddie's tour of Glorious: The Road Movie, directed by Peter Richardson, was screened on Channel 4. He has also appeared on the BBC's Have I Got News For You. With starring roles in the West End productions of David Mamet's The Cryptogram and 900 Oneonta, Eddie then played the title role in Edward II in Leicester. With film acting roles in Aristophanes(Channel 4), The Secret Agent(with Bob Hoskins and Gerard Depardieu) and Damien Hirst's Hanging Around, Eddie still found time to write his own sitcom Cows, which was commissioned for Channel 4.
His acting career continues iwth his role of Bailey in The Avengers alongside Uma Thurman, Sean Connery and Ralph Fiennes. He recently played the title role of Lenny in West End.

Brian's first manager) at Conference Arena, Record Studio. He helped inventing
Maxwell Demon, the space-age persona. He also introduces Brian to Curt(as Brian
requested), started promoting them like a pair of fourties starlets on the swoon
- a Tracy and Hepburn for the seventies. He couldn't risk extending Curt's contract
which led to the breakup of Brian and Curt.
